Connected healthcare strategist Bill Wilder to join growing team of new company

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – January 19, 2022 – Nashville-based ambulatory surgery center (ASC) development and management company, Lync Health Partners, announced today the appointment of Bill Wilder as Executive Vice President, Total Joint Replacement and Spine. In this role, he will lead Lync’s strategy, development and growth in the ASC setting.

Wilder is a veteran of the medical device space, having spent the past 29 years with Johnson & Johnson (J&J) companies. Most recently, at DePuy Synthes, he was the inaugural leader of J&J’s go-to-market strategy in the ASC market. Prior to this role, Wilder worked in other DePuy Synthes leadership positions overseeing field-based marketing and sales. He also held multiples roles in sales, clinical education and marketing over an 11-year period at Ethicon, another J&J company, based in Cincinnati, Ohio.

“I am eager to join this forward-thinking leadership team and apply my experience to help with the growth and development of this proven ambulatory care model,” Wilder said. “As we look ahead, we are focused on the bright future for ASCs and advancing the strategy behind our high-acuity programs for total joint replacement (TJR), spine and cardiology. It’s an exciting time for us and our partners as we advance healthcare for all stakeholders – most importantly, patients.”

Wilder joins a skilled group of leaders behind Lync, including CEO Kenny Hancock, COO Cathy Kowalski, CFO Jim Uden and CDO Greg Thompson. Together, the leadership team combines for more than 100 years of healthcare management experience.

“Bill’s deep industry knowledge of joint replacement and relationships within the ASC space will be extremely valuable to Lync as our company looks to expand in new and existing markets,” Hancock said. “We are honored to have him join our team to further advance our key service lines and drive innovation.”
